Core

Cores represent individual Players or NPCs but can also be nested and controlled by several Players. They are the representation of the smallest our three inventories. Cores can fit into sockets, which enables them to control Mascots, Castles and Gadgets. Cores can be equipped with cosmetic or functional add-ons called Bits.

Cores are modular systems made of two types of building blocks:

  • Cell: a central spherical body of fixed diameter, with 9 pins to equip Bits on.
  • Bits: sets of equippable items

The Core is a simple shape of fixed universal diameter. It is composed of a 3D model and 2D textures. The 9 pins on their surface represent 9 different attach-points for bits. Players will be able to swap different texture sets and bits, similar to skins, during runtime.
